HSA/FSA Reimbursement

Synergy EMS is approved as a service provider for HSA/FSA reimbursement through Truemed. Below is information and details regarding HSA/FSA reimbursement using Truemed approval.


1. Synergy EMS services as a qualified reimbursable expense:

Training services offered by Synergy EMS may be considered a qualified reimbursable expense as determined via approval from Truemed.

2. Truemed approval process:
  • Select the "Truemed Setup" button to be taken to our Truemed-Synergy EMS portal
  • Fill in the application
  • Submit the application and pay the Truemed service fee
  • Await Truemed approval (usually 1-2 business days)
  • Upon approval, Truemed will issue you a "Letter of Medical Necessity" for our services

3. Reimbursement with HSA/FSA:
  • Submit a reimbursement request to your HSA/FSA provider, along with the Letter of Medical Necessity and applicable Synergy EMS receipts
